Bright Friday

Ahhh, Friday. The last day of a long work week.

Even though it is slightly drizzly outside (weird for LA, it IS throwing me off a little), I am in a fantastic mood and hope to spread some Friday cheer to all of you.

OK OK, so maybe I tried to get your attention by referencing the famous Mr. Grey (if you do not know who I am talking about, educate yourself immediately...you'll thank me later), but after seeing the collection below, you will be able to understand where I am coming from.

Sweet & Scanty

Donatella's line was my idea of couture.

These pieces from Versace were about the only reason I was able to blog from the couture shows. 

Below were my favorite from the Versace show. I liked that there were minis sprinkled in with all the maxi dresses we have been seeing lately. Showing some leg now and again is not bad form. 

Attention to detail was a huge focal point during the couture shows for this fall.

The Trench Wench

I never quite favor coats/sweaters for resort season, but I could not pass up these beautiful works of art.

Time to splurge on "that trench" everyone has been talking about.

Pretty Lady

I am not too familiar with this Francesco Scognamilio's work, but this season his work has definitely caught my eye. 

This was by far the best show I saw.

A bit woman, a bit child, all to die for.

High Voltage

This year's Versace resort wear was full of life and color.

Mixing prints is always hit and miss.

Thankfully, Versace does it for us this season.
